Tobit Software AG appoints EMF, Inc. exclusive distributor for US and Canada.

Keene, NH and Ahaus, Germany — August 2002 —

EMF Inc. and Tobit Software AG have announced the appointment of EMF as the exclusive US distributor for Tobit products in the United States and Canada. The appointment comes on the heels of a short absence from the North American marketplace. Tobit’s Director of International Sales, Thomas Nio, said that Tobit was delighted to create a strategic relationship with EMF. "We selected EMF because of their proven track record of outstanding service and support to end-users and the reseller channel. We’re confident that EMF will quickly fill the support needs of our existing customer base, especially among the NetWare for Small Business and GroupWise customers. They plan to create a strong reseller channel to broaden Tobit’s presence in these two very important market places."

According to Robert Gogolen, President of EMF Inc., distribution and support of Tobit’s products are a natural extension to existing business.
